What is F8 key in keyboard?
F6: Closes the document or the file in the active window. Forward. F8: Forwards the e-mail in the active window. Function Lock (F LOCK) Switches between the standard function key commands (F LOCK light on) and the Microsoft keyboard enhanced commands (F LOCK light off).
The F8 gene provides instructions for making a protein called coagulation factor VIII. Coagulation factors are a group of related proteins that are essential for the formation of blood clots. After an injury, clots protect the body by sealing off damaged blood vessels and preventing further blood loss.
The Advanced Boot Options screen lets you start Windows in advanced troubleshooting modes. You can access the menu by turning on your computer and pressing the F8 key before Windows starts. Some options, such as safe mode, start Windows in a limited state, where only the bare essentials are started.
The F8 key
When you start up your computer, press the F8 function key right before the Windows logo appears. Your computer will then start in safe mode. In Microsoft Excel, you can use the F8 key to select the entire range of cells that lies between two cells you selected.
F8 – Used to access the boot menu in Windows when turning on the computer. F9 – Refreshes a document in Microsoft Word and sends and receives emails in Outlook. F10 – Activates the menu bar of an open application.
F8 mRNA is highly expressed in LECs, liver sinusoidal ECs (LSECs), and glomerular ECs (Figure 2); in contrast, it was not detectable in fibroblastic reticular stromal cells, skin fibroblasts, thymic medullary stromal cells, or hematopoietic cells (data not shown).
If F8 isn't working and you've to restart your computer in Safe Mode immediately, try it via the Start menu. Open the Start menu and then Settings> Update & Security> Recovery> Restart Now option. While your computer is in reboot mode, you've to select Troubleshoot under the Select an Option screen.
Simply hold down the FN key and hit the number of the function key you want.
The function keys or F-keys on a computer keyboard, labeled F1 through F12, are keys that have a special function defined by the operating system, or by a currently running program.

What does control F9 do?

Mutations in the F8 gene lead to the production of an abnormal version of coagulation factor VIII or reduce the amount of this protein. The altered or missing protein cannot participate effectively in the blood clotting process. As a result, blood clots cannot form properly in response to injury.
Factor VIII (antihemophilic factor) is the protein that is deficient or defective in patients with classical hemophilia and Von Willebrand syndrome. Factor VIII in plasma is thought to be associated in a complex with the highest molecular weight multimers of another glycoprotein, Von Willebrand protein.
Factor VIII is proteolytically activated by thrombin or factor Xa, and this process results in cleavages at sites within both the factor VIII heavy and light chains (Fig. 2). Thrombin attacks three bonds in factor VIII whereas factor Xa cleaves at these sites plus two additional ones.
The F8 boot menu was removed in order to improve system boot time. This is because Windows 10 boots much faster than previous versions, so you won't have enough time to press the F8 key and enter Safe Mode during startup.
As well as ditching the number pad, 60% keyboards also lack a F key row at the top and the navigational cluster on the right — you just get the alphanumeric zone. These missing functions are accessible via a Function (Fn) key, usually near the bottom right side of the keyboard.
What is a 60 % keyboard? A 60% keyboard does away with all function keys, arrow keys and numpad, leaving a much smaller footprint horizontally and vertically. The keys that are not present physically on the 60% layout are usually accessible through a function layer.
