Should I let my kid play five nights at Freddy's?
Five Nights at Freddy's is all about heart-pounding jump-scares. It's rated 12+, so it's not quite suitable for many preteen players. That said, the series forgoes the blood, gore, and violence typically associated with the horror genre in favor of innocent (if still pretty terrifying) shocks.
Here, the animatronics are shown as benevolent creatures, bringing joy to the kids, while the Purple Man is seen harming/killing them. The Puppet may be the one who has brought the animatronics to life in order to avenge the killed and to protect the other children.
The game has sudden flashing lights, loud sounds and jumpscares that can frighten children. The jumpscares get less scary for older players (teen and up) overtime but could still scare children. The lore of the game is really confusing and VERY dark and is definitely able to give children nightmares.
If you're looking for one of The Missing Children look here. The Crying Child is the main protagonist of Five Nights at Freddy's 4's end of night minigames. He is the victim of the Chomp/Bite of '83.

Why is Freddy nice in FNAF Security Breach? Freddy is nice and a good guy in FNAF Security Breach because of a malfunction and error at the beginning of the game. The game's story starts with Glamrock Freddy performing on stage and collapsing after detecting a threat in the audience.
Worst FNAF Scares - Ultimate Custom Night
FNAF: Ultimate Custom Night is the culmination of all of the FNAF games prior to its creation. It has the worst jumpscares for one reason and one reason only - they're ridiculous.
Play during the day, so if you do get scared you have time to recuperate. Turn your sound off or down really low, as the game doesn't have any crucial audio cues. Before you play, look up a jumpscare compilation. Let yourself know that they are about to come and then watch the com.
Freddy's only weakness was being dragged into the real world. When he is in the dream world, Freddy Krueger has no weaknesses, as he cannot be killed in your dreams.
Nightmare FredBear isn't laughing, he's crying.
Is FNAF OK for 7 year olds?
It's fine. Although, don't let him touch FNaF 4 until you glaze your windows or All-Nightmare mode might make him scream so loud it might break the glass. I would say no, because it has extreamly mature themes, and is very scary.
The Crying Child is NOT Gregory | Fandom.

The big piece of evidence in this theory is the fact that Gregory seems to have no parents, and is hiding in the Pizzaplex overnight. One of the endings of Security Breach shows Gregory leaving the Pizzaplex and sleeping alone in an alleyway. People have also brought up what is known as 'the sticky note room'.
Friendly Freddy was an early animatronic created by Aaron Fechter for Creative Engineering in 1977. He was a black bear with a guitar. Later on, Friendly Freddy was retrofitted to become General Cornelius Bearpatch as part of The Confederate Critter Show, where he was given facial hair and a Confederate soldier outfit.
Animatronics is to use electronics and robotics in automated, magically moving puppets to make them appear to be alive. It is normally used in moviemaking, but also in theme parks and other forms of getting out of boredom.
The known animatronics that are possessed are the Withered & main Toys animatronics, each possessed by one of The Missing Children, Freddy Fazbear by Gabriel, Foxy by Fritz, Chica by Susie, Bonnie by Jeremy, Golden Freddy by Cassidy, The Marionette by Charlotte, Springtrap by William Afton, and Circus Baby/Ennard by ...
Unlike the other animatronics, Toy Freddy is actually friendly and affable towards the player and will not commit any harm to them unless something in his direction goes wrong, in which case, he will get heated up about it.
